* Club Members are individuals chosen for their qualities and the potential they can bring to other Club Members.
* Club Members will mainly be Business Angels who are willing to find qualified investment projects, or Consultants to whom the Club may offer new missions
* It is necessary to fill in a Subscription Form to enable the Subscription Committee to validate their application and their status of Founder.
* Taking into account the international nature of Sophia, of the projects presented and of the Club Members, the Club's working language is English for projects presentation and for all documents exchanged between Members.
Application Process
Choice of Club Members must respect a very strict process, detailed below :
* Detailed letter or application sponsored by two active Club Members.
* Submission of the application to all existing Club Members
* Study of the application by a Membership Committee and interview with the Applicant if relevant.
* The Club clearly expressed its decision that the admission of Members may not be determined by financial criteria, but exclusively by the qualitative criteria examined by the Admission Committee.
Hence the membership fees are solely designed to cover the operating costs of the Club.
* Fees is fixed at 500 Euros / year. This amount is identical for all Members.
The Committee will determine the amount each year, taking into account the above principles.
An exceptional subscription complement may be requested at the end of a financial period to cover any budget overdraft approved by the Members.
Ethics
The sound operation of the Club implies a strong relation of trust between its Members, as much for those who are bringing projects and have to check their quality as for those who are analyzing them and must enable other Members to invest serenely.
* Members commit to respect the Charter of Operations.
* Members commit to participate to the Club's activities.
* Members commit to take a case in charge only if they estimate they are able to complete its analysis in the imparted time.
* Members commit to respect any confidentiality that may be requested either by an applicant or by the Analysis Committee.
* Members will not take any responsibility in a case where they have conflicts of interest.
* Each Member commits to inform the Ethics Committee without delays should another Member breach the Ethics Code or Charter of Operations requirements.
* To respect this spirit of trust between Members, the Club is able to exclude any Member who would have breached the rules of operations and ethics.
