What is a Business Angel ?

A Business Angel is an individual investor, entrepreneur or high level manager with a solid professional experience, bringing to early stage companies an investment, his/her professional experience, his/her network.

He/she is seeking projects of company creation or development, with a high potential and generating a high profitability in compensation of the inherent risks to this type of investment.

Becoming member of SBA it’s :

• Access to the network deal flow and being involved in projects instructions.
• Exchange with the network members regarding projects evaluations.
• Participate in selected projects presentations meetings
• Benefit from the network expertise on Business Angels’ best practices.
• Lean on a common structure to mutualise investments and limit the risks.
• Freely choose projects that he/she wants to support or where he/she wants to be involved.

The applicants will be invited to meet several members of the club. The final decision for a new member to join the club is made by the board of Sophia Business Angels.
